Beating 100 other candidates across the North East, Cactus will now work with the competition organisers and local business community to keep the profile of entrepreneurship in the public eye.

Hartlepool Crime Prevention Panel and local police believe that they have found the perfect intruder deterrent in the Cactus spike. As the summer nears, there is a notable rise in garden and shed-break ins, with a 6ft fence or wall alone not always being a sufficient barrier.
Cactus plays role in Operation Cleansweep

Hartlepool Council's Operation Cleansweep has called upon the services of Cactus Products to help improve the town's neighbourhoods. The pioneering 'Cactus Spike' has been used in areas of anti-social behaviour to deter intruders from householders' gardens and public properties.
